Aniyah was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and at a very young age, was moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia and has been living there her whole life. Growing up, Aniyah wasn’t sure what career she wanted to pursue so she participated in many extra curriculars. In middle school, she found her love for theater by participating in her school’s production of Lion King Jr., and has been performing in her community since late 2019. Off stage, Aniyah loves to chat with friends, go thrifting, play piano, and practice tap. Aniyah believes that hard work can also be applied outside of the rehearsal room within every day activities. 

Aniyah spent 3 out of the 4 years of high school attending Chancellor High School. You may have seen her in their spring musical productions such as: The Spongebob Musical - Pearl Krabs (2022), or Shrek The Musical - Donkey (2024). During her senior year, Aniyah made the decision to continue her education online through Virginia Virtual Academy to focus on her career, and graduated in May of 2025.
